Volkswagen Beetle

£20,895.00

The Beetle has a long and celebrated history, yet from its beginning during the 1930s and up until 1968, its authority assignment was Volkswagen Type 1, and basically showcased as the Volkswagen. Where the Beetle name came from is cloudy, yet the moniker in all likelihood happened in the UK in the mid 1950s. John Colborne-Baber possessed one of the main Type 1 models to land in the UK, and one of his child’s companions nicknamed it “the Beetle”. The name began springing up in magazines alluding to the Volkswagen, however with the scarab in upset commas and without capitalization. In Germany, it became known as the Käfer (German for Beetle), and later on, it was advertised under the name. At last, in 1968, Type 1 authoritatively turned into the Beetle.
